How to install the Absolute Muse Slider

After downloading the Absolute-Muse-Slider.zip from MuseGain.com, just unzip and double click on the .mulib file.

In the library panel you will find a new folder called "Musegain - Absolute Muse Slider".

In this folder there are the following widgets:

  • Absolute Muse Slider Engine
  • Dynamic Position
  • Slide Transition
  • Button Animation
  • Play/Pause Button
  • Frontend Editor Image

You'll also find a folder containing all the text effects.

How to configure the Absolute Muse Slider

Open the Muse Widgets library and drag & drop the native Muse Blank Composition widget into the project.  Expand it to the entire breakpoint size, open the Compositions option and set Transition Speed option to zero. You can also set the "previous" and "next" option from here and insert the Autoplay in the first slide.

Drag & drop the Absolute Muse Slider Engine widget on the lower left of your Blank Composition.

In the Engine options you find some features that help to customize your slider:

  • Fixed Height: if checked, it makes fixed the height of the slider.
  • Dynamic Arrow Position: choose the distance between the slider and the top of the page.
  • Bring triggers on Top: place the triggers on the top of the page. Remember to pin the triggers centrally.
  • Dynamic Thumbnails Position: Create dynamic thumbnails of your slider. You can choose the position of the thumbnails and the distance between the one and the others.
  • Live Editor Integration: this option stops the Autoplay in order to make the Admin able to make changes .

How to Customize the Transitions

Drag & drop the Slide Transition widget and add one of them in each slide.

Here you can choose the type of transition, the duration of the animation, the delay and the timing function.  The latter option allows to handle the effect dynamism.

Dynamic positioning of the elements

This widget allows to add whatever you want, wherever you want, in each slider.  To have a dynamic positioning the Dynamic Position widget is necessary. Insert it in a slide and open the menu option: to have a perfectly centered content all the 4 settings must be set to 50.

The TranslateX and TranslateY option allows to move the content along the Carthesian Plane.

We can add all the widgets we want inside the accordion that will be placed in the slide dynamically.

Button Animation widget

Drag & drop the widget and choose the animation.

It's  a simple, totally customizable, Muse button.

Play/Pause Button

Drag & drop the widget into the slide. You can set several option from the menu and choose the position of the button into the slide. You have to use this widget in the first slide only.

Compatibility with the Frontend Editor

You can choose to make a text effect compatible with the Frontend Editor plugin. In this case you need to assign an unique ID to each effect. E.g. you can't use Image_01 in the same page repeatedly.

You need to insert the Frontend Editor Image widget in each slider to make the background image compatible with the Frontend Editor.

Here too the rule of the unique ID must be applied.

Text Effect folder

Choose the font and the size from Muse menu and the animation type from the widget menu.
